We take data protection seriously
Protecting your privacy when processing personal data is an important cause. When you visit our website, our web servers store the IP of your internet service prover, the website you are visiting from, the web pages you visit on our site, as well as the date and duration of your visit, as standard. This data is necessary for the technical provision of the website and to ensure secure operation of the server. A personalised evaluation of this data will not be carried out.
If you transmit data via the contact form, this data will be stored on our servers as part of data protection measures. Your data will only be used to process your query. Your data will be handled in strictest confidence. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Personal Data
Personal data is data relating to your person. This includes your name, address and email address. You do not have to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we require your name, address, and other information in order to be able to offer you the desired services.
The same applies if we provide informational materials at your request or respond to your query. In such cases, we will always notify you. We only store data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.
If you use one of our services, as a rule, we only collect the data necessary for us to be able to offer you our services. We may ask for further information, but this will be on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data, we do this solely to provide you with our services or in pursuit of our commercial objectives.
Automatically stored data
Server log files
The site provider automatically retrieves and stores information in server log files that are transferred to us automatically via your browser. This information includes:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the file requested
- Website from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Volume of data transferred
This data is not merged with data from other sources. The data is processed in line with Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For technical security reasons, especially for preventing attempted attacks on our web server, this data will be stored by us for a short time. This data cannot be used to identify an individual person. After no more than seven days, the data will be anonymised on a domain level by truncating the IP address, so that it is no longer possible to trace it back to an individual user. The data will also be used in an anonymised form for statistical purposes; this data is neither compared with other datasets nor passed on to third parties, even in a truncated form. The number of site visits is only disclosed as part of our server statistics, which are published every two years in our activity report.
Cookies
When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transmitted to your browser by an internet server and stored on your hard drive. In this case, only the IP address is stored – no personal data. The information stored in the cookies allows our website to automatically recognise you on your next visit to the site, which will make it easier to use. The legal basis for the use of cookies is our legitimate interest in line with Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.
Of course, you are also free to use our website without accepting cookies. If you do not wish for your computer to be recognised on your next visit to the website, you can deactivate the use of cookies by changing the appropriate settings in your browser. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the manual for the browser in question. If you deactivate cookies, you may experience restricted functionality in some areas of our website.
Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager. The Tag Manager does not collect any personal data. The tool activates other tags that may collect your data under certain circumstances. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If recording has been deactivated on a domain or cookie level, this setting will remain in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. Google’s privacy policy for this tool can be found here: https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/
Google-Analytics with anonymisation function
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, henceforth “Google”. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer and allow for your use of the website to be analysed.
The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visits, including your IP address, are transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there.
On our website, we use Google Analytics with the “_gat.anonymizeIp” extension. In this case, your IP address will be truncated and therefore anonymised within a European Union Member State or another treaty state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to generate reports on website activity for us and to perform other services related to the website activity and internet usage.
Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or if the third parties will process this data on behalf of Google.
Google will not combine your IP address with any other information held by Google. You can prevent the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in such cases, you may be unable to make full use of our website.
Moreover, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most commonly used browsers, which gives you more control over the data that Google collects about the websites you access. The add-on communicates to the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that no information relating to the website activity is to be passed on to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics deactivation add-on for browsers does not prohibit the transfer of information to us or to other web analytics services we may use. More information about installing the browser add-on can be found at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
WIf you visit our website from a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and clear your cookies, this will also clear the opt-out cookie, meaning that you will have to click the link again.
If you have provided consent for Google to link your web and app browsing history with your Google account in order to display personalised ads, Google will use your data in conjunction with Google Analytics data to generate target demographic lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics will initially record your Google-authenticated ID on our website, which is linked to your Google account (and therefore personal data). Google Analytics will then temporarily link your ID with your Google Analytics data in order to optimise our target demographics.
If you do not consent to this, you can disable this function by changing the appropriate settings in the “My Account” section of your Google account.
Google Doubleclick
Google Doubleclick is a service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, (“Google”). Doubleclick by Google uses cookies to present you with relevant advertisements. In this process, your browser is allocated an alias ID in order to determine which advertisements have been displayed and accessed in your browser. The cookies do not contain any personal information. The use of DoubleClick cookies only allows Google and its partners to display ads based on your previous browsing history on our website or other websites. The information generated by the cookies is used by Google for evaluation purposes and transferred to and stored on servers in the USA. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the “Privacy Shield” agreement and is a registered member of the “Privacy Shield” programme with the US Department of Commerce. Google will only transfer your data to third parties if this is required by law or for the purposes of contractual data processing activities. Google will never combine your data with other information held by Google.
By using our website, you provide consent for the personal data about yourself to be processed by Google as part of the data processing measures outlined above and for the specified purpose. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in such cases, you may be unable to make full use of our website. Moreover, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data about your website activity generated by the cookies by clicking the following link and downloading and installing the DoubleClick deactivation add-on available there as a browser plugin. Alternatively, you can also deactivate the DoubleClick cookies with this opt-out feature.
Vimeo-Plugins
For the integration of videos, we use the provider Vimeo, amongst others. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC, headquartered at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York, 10011.
Our website features plugins from the provider Vimeo. If you visit one of our websites that features this plugin, for example our media library, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers to display the plugin. As a result, the Vimeo server is informed of which of our web pages you have visited. If you are also logged into Vimeo as a member, Vimeo will associate this information with your personal user account. Any usage of the plugin, e.g. by clicking the start button on a video, will also result in this information being associated with your user account. You can prevent the data from being associated by logging out of your Vimeo account and deleting the relevant Vimeo cookies before visiting our website.
More information on how your data is processed and Vimeo’s Privacy Policy can be found at https://vimeo.com/privacy.
YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode
For the integration of videos, we use the provider YouTube. The videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. However, like most websites, YouTube also uses cookies to gather information about the visitors to its website. YouTube uses this data for multiple reasons, including for recording video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve usability. This also leads to a connection being established with the Google DoubleClick network. When you play a video, this can activate additional data processing operations. We have no influence over this. More information about data protection on YouTube can be found in their Privacy Policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube
Free whitepapers, e.g. Trend Report
In order to receive our free whitepapers, such as the Trend Report, you must provide us with your email address to register for the download. Disclosing your title, name, company and telephone number is not mandatory. By registering, you consent to receiving upcoming issues of the Trend Report as well as surveys about its usage by email, and you also consent to being contacted by telephone or email. You can revoke this consent at any time (trendreport@speed4trade.com).
Leadinfo
We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This recognises visits by companies to our website on the basis of IP addresses and shows us publicly available information for this purpose, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behaviour on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g. „leadinfo.com“) in order to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve the services. For more information, please visit www.leadinfo.com. On this page: www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option. In the event of an opt-out, your data will no longer be collected by Leadinfo.
Hotjar
For the purpose of website analysis, technologies from Hotjar [https://www.hotjar.com] Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 3155, Malta („Hotjar“) automatically collect and store data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website), from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies are used for this purpose. The pseudonymised user profiles are not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without separate, express consent. Hotjar acts on our behalf with a contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR. You can revoke this consent, if given, at any time in the consent banner.
Borlabs Cookie
This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) to store your cookie consents. Borlabs cookie does not process any personal data. The borlabs-cookie cookie stores your consents that you gave when you entered the website. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked again for your cookie consent.
Newsletter
We use a double opt-in process for newsletter distribution, which means that we will only send you a newsletter via email if you have previously provided your explicit consent for the newsletter service to be activated. We will send you a notification email asking you to click a link in the email to confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we will store your IP address and the date of registration. This information is stored solely as evidence in case a third party abuses your email address in order to subscribe to the newsletter without your knowledge or consent. If, in future, you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time without incurring any additional transmission costs beyond the basic tariffs.
Evaluation of newsletter usage behavior
We use so-called newsletter tracking in our newsletters. In this process, recipient reactions (opening a mailing, clicking on text and image links, downloading images with an e-mail program) are recorded and stored anonymously for statistical purposes. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual users from the stored data.
By registering via double opt-in procedure, the user has agreed to the logging. As a result, the aforementioned recipient responses are recorded and stored. This allows us to better tailor the content of the newsletter to the personal interests of the user. Logging takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) DSGVO. Our interest is directed towards the use of a user-friendly newsletter offer and the proof of consent.
Cancellation/revocation of the newsletter
The user can cancel the newsletter at any time and thus revoke his consent to receive the newsletter. Any existing consent to the collection of data will also expire with this. The user has the option of cancelling the newsletter himself at any time via the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.
We store the unsubscribed e-mail addresses for up to three years on the basis of our legitimate interests before deleting them in order to be able to prove any consent formerly given. The processing of this data is limited to the purpose of a possible defense against claims. An individual deletion request is possible at any time, provided that the former existence of consent is confirmed at the same time.
Security
We have implemented technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All our employees and service providers working for us are bound by the applicable data protection laws.
Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to a continuous improvement process and our data protection statements are constantly being revised. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
Amendments to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make amendments to our Privacy Policy if new technologies make this necessary. Please ensure that you have access to the latest version. If fundamental amendments are made to this Privacy Policy, we will announce this on our website.
